  • Crime no.45170136203 – On 07/12/2017 from 14:15 to 15:05, in Browning Close, Camberley. Three Romanian males arrested and charged for stealing copper cylinder/pipes from the rear of a residential garden (Under investigation)
  • Crime no.45170135337 – Between 04/12/2017 from 15:00 to 05/12/2017 at 15:51, in Radcliffe Close, Frimley. Suspects have gained forced entry via rear door of property via bottom panel using tool and have conducted untidy search throughout the whole property and stolen foreign currency.   • Crime no.45170135497 – Between 04/12/2017 from 16:00 to 05/12/2017 at 10:00, in Bridge Road, Deepcut. Barn broken into and machinery and tools taken.
  • Crime no.45170134662 – On 02/12/2017 at 21:00, in Milden Gardens, Frimley. While visiting a friend victim had parked her Mini Cooper outside.  On leaving found flour and egg had been thrown onto the bonnet (Under investigation)
  • Crime no.45170134811 – On 02/12/2017 from 20:00 to 21:00, in Milden Gardens, Frimley. Land Rover had egg and flour thrown over it whilst a party going on inside the house. (Under investigation)

  • Crime no.45170133599 – Between 21/11/2017 from 00:00 to 28/11/2017 at 13:14, in Westwood Road, Windlesham. Shed break in. Hole cut in the fence behind the structure.  Access via the golf course.  Various garden equipment taken.

  • Crime no.45170134473 – On 03/12/2017 at 03:15, in The Orchard, Lightwater. Vehicle alarm has gone off in the early hours of the morning, later in the day discovered that damage had been caused to the vehicle and it appears suspects attempted to force entry to the vehicle.
  • Crime no.45170134892 – On 03/12/2017 at 23:30, in Rosewood Way, West End. Informant heard a noise, got out of bed and saw a group of youths and then one of the youths kicked the rear of his vehicle.  By the time he got his glasses they had gone

Have been away for two weeks and have come home to find a lot of items missing from the property – no sign of forced entry but door does not lock properly (Under investigation).
  • Crime no.45170127932 – Between 15/11/2017 from 09:00 to 16/11/2017 at 18:45, in Horseshoe Crescent, Camberley. Have stolen one vehicle alloy ford emblem from a Ford Fiesta and caused damage to others whilst attempting to remove them.
  • Crime no.45170128089 – Between 13/11/2017 from  09:00 to 17/11/2017 at 10:30, in Obelisk Way, Camberley. Theft of bike from bike rack.
  • Crime no.45170128689 – On 18/11/2017 at 12:15, in Grace Reynolds Walk, Camberley. Theft of purse.
  • Crime no.45170128767 – Between 28/10/2017 from 08:00 to 19/11/2017 at 13:59, in Salisbury Grove, Mytchett. Property which is under renovation has been accessed causing no damage and items have been stolen.
  • Crime no.45170128484 – On 18/11/2017 at 11:20, in Frimley High Street, Frimley. Two males have distracted elderly female and stolen purse
  • Crime no.45170128427 – Between 07/11/2017 from 09:00 to 14/11/2017 at 08:00, in Kennel Lane, Windlesham. Back door of garage lock removed and building entered then gained entry through a window into the store room and removed bottles of cleaning products.
  • Crime no.45170129302 – On  20/11/2017 at 18:00, in Westwood Road, Windlesham. Unknown persons have entered a 6 bedroom dwelling and stolen items from one of the bedrooms (Under investigation).
  • Crime no.45170130257 – On 21/11/2017 from 00:00 to 01:00, in Highwayman’s Ridge, Windlesham. Garage connected to house has been broken into and items stolen. (Under investigation)
  • Crime no.45170130631 – Between  01/11/2017 from 00:01 to 22/11/2017 at 15:00, in Bowling Green Road, Chobham. Have broken in to brick out house and stolen tools.
  • Crime no.45170129326 – Between 19/11/2017 from 18:00 to 20/11/2017 at 12:00, in Queens Road, Bisley. Paintwork on black mini cooper has been scratched whilst parked on driveway of property.
  • Crime no.45170130334 – On 22/11/2017 at 02:30, in Heywood Drive, Bagshot. Car has been opened on driveway by hooded male. CCTV available (Under investigation)
  • Crime no.45170130451 – On 21/11/2017 at 02:30, in Heywood Drive, Bagshot. Access gained to unlocked car and purse containing cash stolen – neighbours cars also attempted and CCTV on linked report – line of enquiry (Under investigation).

  • Crime no.45170121986 – Between 02/11/2017 from 22:00 to 03/11/2017 at 08:00, in Blackstroud Lane, Lightwater. Three highly modified go karts have been stolen from inside a garage on land next to informant’s house (Under investigation)
  • Crime no.45170122486 – On 03/11/2017 from 12:00 to 15:30, in Updown Hill, Windlesham. Offender climbed through open window, tidy search, took laptop and cash.
  • Crime no.45170122509 – On 03/11/2017 from 10:30 to 17:00, in Woodcock Drive, Chobham. Suspect/s have entered residential dwelling via insecure upstairs window and stolen jewellery.
  • Crime no.45170122835 – Between 04/11/2017 from 17:00 to 05/11/2017 at 00:30, in Commonfields, West End. Suspect has gained entry to a residential property by forcing a first floor window open, using an unknown tool and subsequently stealing jewellery. (Under investigation)
  • Crime no.45170122962 – On 05/11/2017 at 04:00, in Yaverland Drive, Bagshot. Outbuilding in garden entered and confectionery stolen
  • Crime no.45170122555 – Between 03/11/2017 from 20:00 to 04/11/2017 at 07:00, in Premier Inn, London Road, Bagshot. Have twisted driver’s lock off of Ford Transit van in Premier Inn car park to unlock doors, and stolen £600 of tools from within.
  • Crime no.45170123560 – Between 04/11/2017 from 21:30 to 06/11/2017 at 13:00, in Grasmere Road, Lightwater. Whilst parked outside victim’s home address n/s/f mirror has been broken off of silver Toyota Yaris
  • Crime no.45170123743 – On 23/10/2017 from 13:00 to 18:00, in Thorndown Lane, Windlesham. Ford Focus vehicle has been damaged
  • Crime no.45170124812 – Between 08/11/2017 from 18:30 to 09/11/2017 at 15:30, in Brookleys, Chobham. Parking sensor removed from red Hyundai i10
  • Crime no.45170124101 – Between 01/10/2017 from 21:30 to 06/11/2017 at 23:15, in Cedar Close, Bagshot. Offenders have attempted to force entry to the same vehicle with crowbars on 2 occasions and been disturbed; both incidents have only just been reported to police.

Surrey Heath’s Remembrance Sunday services

Surrey Heath Borough Council announce the Remembrance services on Sunday 12th November,

Surrey Heath will pay tribute to those involved in the First and Second World War, as well as more recent conflicts, during Remembrance Sunday services planned across the Borough on 12 November.

The Mayor of Surrey Heath Cllr Valerie White will attend St Anne’s Church, Bagshot at 10am.

She will later visit St Michael’s Church, Camberley, together with Chief Executive Karen Whelan, for a 2pm service.

A parade including The Mayor, Lt Col Tim Cave-Gibbs of The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, and SHBC Chief Executive Karen Whelan, will then be held along the A30 London Road from approximately 3pm. Wreaths will be laid at the War Memorial outside the RMA entrance in Camberley.

Surrey Heath MP Michael Gove is also due to attend.

Deputy Mayor Cllr Dan Adams will attend the service at St John the Baptist, Windlesham at 10.30am, then at 2.45pm he will visit St Lawrence Church, Chobham.

Honorary Alderman Alan Whittart will attend the service at All Saints Church, Lightwater at 10.20am, followed by an Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial.

The Remembrance Sunday services are organised by the Royal British Legion, with Surrey Heath Borough Council and the military working together to support the event.

Road Closures
Related road closures on 12 November include:

10am – 11.30am: Church Lane between School Close and A322 Guildford Road.

Road closures from 3pm to 4.30pm include:
– London Road (A30) between Knoll Road and Charles Street junctions.
– High Street, from St George’s Road to the London Road. Diversions via Knoll Road.
– Eastbound traffic on A30 London Road: Diversions via Charles Street, Southwell Park Road, Pembroke Broadway, Portesbury Road and Knoll Road.
– Westbound traffic on A30 London Road: Diversions via Knoll Road, Portesbury Road, Pembroke Broadway, Southwell Park Road and The Avenue.
– Traffic parked in the High Street beyond St George’s Road will need to U-Turn at Park Street, leaving via A30 London Road/Knoll Road diversion.
– Knoll Road between A30 and Camberley Theatre (between approx 3.45pm – 4.15pm).

2.30pm – 4.30pm: The High Street from Chertsey Road junction to Station Road junction.

10.30am – 11.30am: All Saints Road closed.

West End
10am – 12.30pm: Church Road closed.

No planned road closures.

Some local Bonfire Night and Fireworks events 2017

Sort of feel a failure, as haven’t compiled a complete list of local bonfire and fireworks events, as I did in previous  years. Here’s what I’ve found out about this year’s events from posters and websites – see a montage of them below [Click on images to expand].

Fri 3rd Nov: Windlesham Village Infant School Field, School Lane, Windlesham (opposite the School). Gates open 5.45 pm, Bonfire 6.30 pm, Fireworks 7.00 pm. Adult £7, Child £3

Fri 3rd Nov: West End Holy Trinity School, Benner Lane, West End, Gates open 5.30 pm, Bonfire 6.30 pm, Fireworks 7.15 pm. Adults £5, Child £3

  • Crime No.45170112164 – On 08/10/2017 from 00:01 to 23:59, in Shildon Close, Frimley. Cat has been shot by an air weapon.
  • Crime No.45170110459 – On 06/10/2017 from 01:30 to 02:30, in Buckingham Way, Frimley. Car aerial stolen from a white Volkswagen.
  • Crime No.45170111289 – On 08/10/2017 from 17:28 to 18:30, in Portsmouth Road, Frimley. Three deep scratches across both doors of a Volkswagen Touareg while parked in car park of Our Lady Queen in Heaven (Under investigation).

  • Crime no.45170109003 – Between 02/10/2017 from 19:00 to 03/10/2017 at 06:30, in Toby Carvery, Portsmouth Road, Camberley. Theft of items from motor Ford Transit van parked overnight at location – captured on CCTV (Under investigation)
  • Crime no.45170107664 – On 29/09/2017 at 20:00 in Princess Way, Camberley. Criminal Damage to the steel door that is boarding up BHS in Camberley Town Centre. (Under investigation)
  • Crime no.45170108182 – On 30/09/2017 at 22:55, in Victoria Avenue, Camberley. Suspect has poured paint stripper onto a Range Rover Sport causing damage to the paintwork (Under investigation)
  • Crime no.45170105646 – Between 22/09/2017 from 23:30 to 23/09/2017 at 08:00, in Copped Hall Drive Camberley. Car parked in driveway overnight. Damage was caused during this time to the exterior of the vehicle on the driver’s side. The wing mirror was damaged and all along the side and part of the roof was badly scratched with probably a key or sharp object.

  • Crime no.45170107842 – Between 29/09/2017 from 17:00 to 30/09/2017 at 09:30, in Field Lane, Frimley. Overnight a flower pot was used to damage rear nearside window of a Red Volkswagen Polo parked on a residential street.
  • Crime no.45170107843 – Between 29/09/2017 from 17:00 to 30/09/2017 at 09:30, in Conway Close, Frimley. Offside wing mirror ripped from a white Ford Fiesta parked outside victim’s home address overnight.
  • Crime no.45170108163 – On 30/09/2017 at 21:30 in Stoneleigh Court, Frimley. In the hours of darkness a 25 cm diameter stone was thrown at a garage door causing a large dent.
  • Crime no.45170107843 – Between 29/09/2017 from 17:00 to 30/09/2017 at 09:30, in Conway Close, Frimley. Offside wing mirror have been ripped off from a car parked outside victim’s home address overnight.
  • Crime no.45170107823 – On 30/09/2017 at 02:30, in Buckingham Way, Frimley. Driver’s side windscreen wiper snapped on a black Hyundai 1X35
  • Crime no.45170108165 – Between 30/09/2017 from 20:30 to 01/10/2017 at 08:30, in Buckingham Way, Frimley. Blue Volkswagen Golf car aerial stolen.
  • Crime no.45170108166 – Between 30/09/2017 from 20:30 to 01/10/2017 at 08:30 in Buckingham Way, Frimley. Silver Peugeot 308 car aerial stolen
  • Crime no.45170109080 – On 03/10/2017 from 12:01 to 06:00, in Worsley Road, Frimley. A BMW had a Stanley knife inserted in the tyre and twisted out leaving the blade inside.
  • Crime no.45170108242 – On 01/10/2017 at 05:15, in Pinewood Gardens, Bagshot. Suspect has searched silver SEAT parked on the driveway without taking anything.
  • Crime no.45170109861 – Between 04/10/2017 from 22:00 to 05/10/2017 at 06:00, in Yaverland Drive, Bagshot. Vehicle broken into and items taken.
  • Crime no.45170109286 – Between 03/10/2017 from 23:00 to 04/10/2017 at 06:00, in Beta Road, Chobham. The spare wheel and rear nearside wheel on a Land Rover stolen overnight
  • Crime no.45170108835 – On 02/10/2017 from 22:05 to 22:20, in High Street, Bagshot. During the hours of darkness have driven by in a dark grey people carrier and fired 2 ball bearings causing damage to 2 glass panes of The Cedar Tree and then have driven away.  (Under investigation)
  • Crime no.45170108998 – Between 02/10/2017 from 23:30 to 03/10/2017 at 06:30, in Gomer Road, Bagshot. Superglue has been placed into front door lock meaning door cannot be locked and will need to be replaced – there are similar reports for several houses in the road
