Delighted to see two friends, from the Lightwater Country Park rangers winter works conservation team of volunteers, responded to the invitation to join the flag raising at Surrey Heath House on Monday morning, to celebrate Armed Forces Day this Saturday. Even nicer to see them wearing Help for Heroes tee shirts.
The sun shone on the assembled party of serving soldiers and airmen, along with ex-servicemen, the Mayor, past Mayors, local councillors, and your truly too. Coming soon, a more detailed report and picture on the Deputy Mayor’s Diary.
