A quiet day on the Tour de France yesterday. My predictions are showing how little I know about cycle racing, and the tour in particular.
Yesterday’s predictions were just about Ok, in that there was an almost successful breakaway, and Michael Matthews came in third. It’s a shame that Cavendish and Sagan are no longer on the tour, as both offer exciting unpredictability that we fans of the race look forward to.
My thoughts on Day 7,
- Another hot day with not much action until the bunch sprint at the end, in which I’d be a fool not to predict another Marcus Kittel stage win. So that’s what I’m predicting.
