I remember Jim Henbest in the 1940’s. My father, Tom Winton, was the shoemaking instructor through the war years. I was a student at the school from 1945 to 1949 when I passed the 11 plus and changed to the Woking Grammar School. I have lived in Tasmania for the past 50 years.
