The ending of Peter Kay’s Car Share didn’t disappoint

Car Share, Peter Kay’s sitcom on BBC 1, co-written with Sian Gibson ended on a high. Such an intelligent way to end the sitcom.

The last few minutes were glorious humour, involving a hedgehog, a car crash, a bus ride, and some hand holding. Magical, and memorable.

I’ve wondered how they filmed the in car sequences, and the huge number of camera angles. Well, here’s the photo of the set up. Amazing that Peter Kay could drive the car with all that equipment in front of him [Oops.. see comment below]. Credit to Peter and Sian’s acting skills that they appeared so natural with this in front of them. I’m glad I only saw this after the finale.

  1. The car was actually being towed not driven. I am sure it would be illegal to drive with the windscreen obscured like that.
