There’s no fun finer than chatting to strangers, and, of course, to friends. I, nay we, did plenty of that at the Royal Logistic Corps Open Day in Deepcut.
The Rugby Sevens and the Tug-of-War competitions were great fun to watch. Definitely too hot to compete in.
I spoke to a couple, who were in the historic military vehicles section, of their huge Foden recovery vehicle. He said he’d about sixteen similar vehicles, while his wife smiled and chatted, also, engagingly about the collection. Such were our conversations.
