My earlier article on the artistry on display at the 30th Annual Heather Quilters Exhibition promised a video of the event. Sandy, one of the club members, was kind to give me a guided tour. On the tour Sandy explained their Project Linus to provide quilts to the sick, needy and refugees. The video shows one of the members creating items for the project.
The infectious enthusiasm of the joy of quilting comes across. The creativity of the quilters is remarkable, admirably displayed in the Noshi Ribbons quilt by Stella Harman, winner of this year’s quilt of the exhibition.
