A concert of music from stage and screen by the Royal Logistic Corps Band & Corps of Drums

Last Friday we were in the Tela Theatre at Princess Royal Barracks, Deepcut to listen to a Band and Corps of Drums of the Royal Logistic Corps concert. The concert was An Evening of Music from Stage and Screen.

We’ve been to a number of similar concerts by the RLC Band. Always a delight to have the company of Chelsea Pensioners. This evening’s concert programme suited the band, and you could sense their enjoyment in the playing the programme. The Band has 12 working ensembles, including a traditional marching band, show band, big band, brass quintets, saxophone quartet, acoustic and rock groups,” and many more.

The big band concert repertoire was especially fine, and much enjoyed by the audience, as was the performance of the Corps of Drums. I do recommend keeping an eagle eye open for future concerts. They’re free, but they’re ticketed and you’ll need to book, call 01252 833744, email bandrlc-ao@mod.uk [click on images to expand]
