Seeing a steam engine from underneath

In the report of our visit to the National Trust AGM, held at the STEAM Museum in Swindon, I said I’d post a video with an interesting perspective.

img_4073Well, the title tells you what the video will be about. Arriving at STEAM for the NT’s AGM, tea, cake, and bacon rolls was on offer next to a large steam engine – Great Western Railway number 4073, Caerphilly Castle. It’s this engine that I later walked beneath.

Frankly, I’d only the vaguest idea as to what I was seeing beneath the steam engine, which is not sufficient to tell you anything meaningful. It’s a short video – just a minute.
