So proud of my fellow countrymen and women

This morning, as the sun shines, and the rain clouds disappear, the country has voted to leave the European Union.

DSC05649My fellow countrymen and women weren’t cowed by the negativity in the arguments about what would happen to us if we voted to leave.

The country, especially the Midlands, the North, and Wales, showed the way. Democracy wins today. The world will now be watching us.

  1. Tim,

It is indeed a new dawn and a new day,

A little disappointed with the Surrey Heath result where Leave won by 51-49%, but the ultimate prize was achieved.

Also really impressed with the turn-out – both locally and nationally – this referendum has certainly re-energised interest in politics which has to be a good thing,

  2. Farage has won the arguement, but we may all lose in the end!!!. He has also managed to split the tories who may never recover again.

  3. I’m glad you’re happy, but you’ve just broken the 1983 Representation of the Peoples Act by publishing that photo of your ballot paper. You could face six months in prison or a £5,000 fine.
