The Mayor opens the redecorated and refurbisbhed Frimley Lodge Park Café

Surrey Heath Borough Council announce today that the Mayor, Cllr Joanne Potter, has officially opened Frimley Lodge Park Café.

The redecorated café has been refurbished extensively and now sports new furniture and catering equipment as well as offering a great range of freshly prepared food and branded coffee.

Churchill Catering have taken over the lease of the café, situated in the award winning Frimley Lodge Park which boasts acres of open green space, including areas of woodland and meadows, picnic areas and sports pitches.

The Mayor of Surrey Heath Cllr Joanne Potter cut the ribbon and said at the opening: “Frimley Lodge Park is one of the jewels in the crown of Surrey Heath. This beautiful park is well loved and well used by local people and those from further afield. Central to a great park, is a great café – somewhere to provide a focus for meeting friends, relaxing, getting refreshed on a hot day or warming up when it’s chilly.”

Surrey Heath’s portfolio holder for business, Cllr Craig Fennell said: “We have a strong vision for the park; maintaining high quality and value whilst ensuring it supports our ambitions for the local community. I am sure that the café will grow from success to success, satisfying our existing customers, appealing to a range of new ones, and quickly becoming the beating heart of this popular park.”

The café will open 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm at weekends.
