Windlesham Parish Council Annual Meeting: Part 3 – CCllr Mike Goodman on Surrey County Council

This is part 3 of four on the proceedings at the Windlesham Parish Council Annual Meeting I attended last week. See part 1 on the Parish Council annual report HERE, and part 2 – Karen Whelan’s update of changes at Surrey Heath Borough Council HERE.

This is the report by County Councillor Mike Goodman for Bagshot, Windlesham and Chobham and Cabinet Member for Environment and Planning, on issues of infrastructure investment – including roads and pavements, by Surrey County Council.

Mike Goodman mentions a Cow Parade art initiative in his talk. The photos show one of the unpainted cows on display at the parish council meeting, and the front of an advertising card about the Cow Parade.

  1. I am afraid Ccllr Goodman has completely missed the point about the Red Road. It is not the surface or the age of those driving it. The problem is the volume of traffic at peak times that makes it almost impossible to exit the village. Regards   Mike Reed
