Police witness appeal following serious sexual assault in Camberley

Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses following an allegation of serious sexual assault in London Road in the early hours of Sunday 28 February.

The victim, a woman in her 20s, left the Agincourt nightclub between 2.30am and 3am and headed towards the McDonald’s on London Road. Shortly after at approximately 3.30am she was assaulted near the meadows roundabout.

Officers are particularly keen to speak to a man who left the nightclub around 3.30am. He is described as white; around 5ft9 to 5ft10 in height, of skinny build with blonde hair that was short at the back and longer on top. He is believed to be in his early 20’s and spoke in a southern accent.

Detective Sergeant, Ross Linaker, said: “If you are the man we would like to speak to, you know who he might be or if you have any information at all please contact us immediately.

“We are carrying out an extensive investigation to establish the circumstances of this incident.  Any information you have could help us piece together the events of that morning.”
