The lovely people from The Surrey Heath Veterans & Families – Listening Project have emailed details of their February meeting and their February newsletter, which I’m happy to pass on.
Tuesday 9th February 2016, from 10.0am – 2.0pm is our monthly group well-being meeting at the Camberley Sea Cadet Centre, 2a Gilbert Road, Frimley.
Mark Tindle from the Royal Logistic Corps Museum will give an insight into his work/role within the community, and the museum’s plans for its future.
From 12.0pm our free well-being group for HMF Veterans at 12 pm is joined by SERVES (Surrey Engagement: Reservists and Veterans Emotional Support) covering: Coping with frustrations and anger emotion gym: “Wound up, rage, I can’t take any more, frustrated, boiling over.”… are just a few of the words commonly used to describe anger. SERVES – emotion gym aims to give some information on anger with self-help strategies that are known to be helpful in managing anger in a more positive and helpful way. Pop-in to find out more.
