It’s a super special Saturday in Lightwater this weekend: Part 2 of 3

Saturday is a busy day for Lightwater’s All Saints’ Church vicar, Rev Mark Wallace, and his church choir. In the morning Mark and the choir sing carols at the Christmas Fayre in the Square, inviting everyone to join in.

Following a service at 4.30 pm, which no doubt will involve singing a carol or two, there’s a candlelit procession from the church to the Community Christmas Tree, where there’ll be more carol singing, prior to the switching on of the Christmas tree lights.

Then it’s a short walk to the village square for seasonal refreshments courtesy of The co-operative food. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this didn’t involve more carol singing.
