Things to do this weekend 2: Frimley Green Carnival Procession

Frimley Green Carnival 2011If you love a good carnival procession, then be sure to position yourself somewhere along Frimley Green Road on Sunday 12th July, between the start of the procession at Frimley Community Centre on Balmoral Drive, and its end at the Green at Frimley Green.

The procession begins at 2.0pm and ends at 2.45 pm. From 12.30pm to 5.0pm There’ll be stalls, refreshments, and plenty to interest all family members will be available on the Green from 12.30pm to 5.0pm.

The effort and creativity involved in creating the floats is always something to admire, as are the energies of Tony Moore and the Frimley Green Carnival Committee. The Mychett, Frimley Green, and Deepcut Society report of the 2014 carnival contains photos of the procession.

UPDATE: The theme for the Carnival procession is Heroes and Villains.
