Hammond Junior School children light up Lightwater businesses

Half of Hammond Junior School’s year 5 children visited seven businesses, and the parish council in Lightwater yesterday. The remaining half of the year 5 class will visit businesses next week.

Called an Experience Day, children were invited into David Martin Jewellers, George Arthur Butchers, the Cook shop, Carson & Co estate agency, Duffy’s Budgens, George’s Café, Lightwater Pharmacy, and Windlesham Parish Council.

Rather than write about the day here, listen to the three podcasts, from Tim Salter of Carson & Co and the Lightwater Business Association, John Dickinson of George Arthur Butchers, and two of the children. I’ve also include a brief photo montage of the day. The children were photographed for the Camberley News.
