I happened to visit the Dr Foster Intelligence website, which “exists make healthcare data better and help healthcare organisations improve the quality of care”, and found some good news about Frimley Park Hospital. This then led me to Frimley Park Hospital where I found the second piece of good news. Here’s what I found,
- Frimley Park NHS Foundation Trust was one of the two runners-up in the Dr Foster Hospital Guide 2012 Trust of the Year. This is the report in the Hospital Guide:
- In May this year there was a serious traffic accident in the ‘S’ bends on Red Road [B311] in Lightwater. Two staff nurses and a physiotherapist, all friends working at Frimley Park Hospital, were travelling together in a car along Red Road and chanced upon the traffic accident. Offering to help, they saved the life of a seriously injured motorist. They have each won awards for their conduct. Reported HERE. Do read it. It’s a great story.
