BBC’s Countryfile program yesterday included an item on saving our native Red Squirrel from being displaced by the introduced Grey Squirrel.
What more sensible way to rid the country of Grey Squirrels than to eat them. I can’t say I’ve ever eaten squirrel, although I have eaten cat. Here’s how popular it’s become to eat squirrel,

All I’ve got to do now is find a local restaurant that serves squirrel pie, and when I do I’ll let you know.
