The Home Office announced yesterday that, “an updated Life in the UK test handbook that focuses on British culture and history will be released [today]“. They say the reason for the new handbook and test is,
“..part of the government’s reforms to the immigration system to help reduce net migration to sustainable levels while ensuring that Britain continues to attract the brightest and the best migrants from across the world.”
The Daily Telegraph has 10 sample questions from the latest British immigration test. I got all the 10 questions correct, yet I had to ask my wife to confirm my answer to one question. So, perhaps I should say I got nine and a half out of ten.

I didn’t realise you had to tick the ‘radio button’ corresponding to your answer – so I scored 0%.
