At last night’s Extraordinary Council Meeting an encouraging fact emerged.
It’s that Surrey Heath Borough Council has the highest Council Tax collection rate in England for 2011-12*, at 99.5%. How pleasant to beat those councils who always seem to be above us in league tables, Hart percentage collection rate was 98.5%, Elmbridge 99.0% and Wokingham 99.4%.
There, Surrey Heath is top.
