When, last year, I wrote about two jokes about quantum mechanics, space precluded my including these three. They’re not belly laugh funny, but should raise a smile.
The experimentalist comes running excitedly into the theorist’s office, waving a graph taken off his latest experiment. “Hmmm,” says the theorist, “That’s exactly where you’d expect to see that peak. Here’s the reason.” A long logical explanation follows. In the middle of it, the experimentalist says “Wait a minute”, studies the chart for a second, and says, “Oops, this is upside down.” He fixes it. “Hmmm,” says the theorist, “you’d expect to see a dip in exactly that position. Here’s the reason…”.
A neutron walks into a bar. “I’d like a beer” he says. The bartender promptly serves up a beer. “How much will that be?” asks the neutron. “For you?” the bartender replies, “no charge”.
Einstein’s favorite limerick was:
There was an old lady called Wright
who could travel much faster than light.
She departed one day
in a relative way
and returned on the previous night.

When I subscribed to your blog it was so I could follow what was going on in Lightwater and how things might affect residents. And I now know more about what is going on and very grateful for it. But if you are going to start publishing this kind of inane noise clogging up my email box, then I will have to start looking elsewhere.
Can you not find a way to separate social and personal comment by publishing on twitter or Facebook on a personal page and leave this blog for more community information
