Early news on local government funding

The Communities Secretary, Eric Pickles, today announced the local government funding for 2013/14. See HERE for the spreadsheet table.

The BBC’s website has, usefully, put the the funding per local authority into an accessible map. From a very brief trawl of the map, I’ve found the following data,

  • Surrey Heath government funding for 2013/14 has a cut of -1.2%
  • Woking by -2.2%
  • Guildford by -0.2%
  • Waverley by -1.4%
  • Elmbridge by -2.0%
  • Hart by -0.4%
  • Rushmoor by -1.2%
  • Bracknell Forest by -2.2%

Here’s the full table for Surrey Boroughs,
