Vote Katia Malcaus-Cooper for Lightwater this Thursday

Windlesham Parish Election 002

Following the resignation of a Lightwater West ward parish councillor for family and personal reasons, the residents of Lightwater West ward have the opportunity to vote in a replacement.

The election is this Thursday, 6th December. The polling station is at the Briar’s Community Centre in Briar Avenue.

The candidates are Katia Malcaus-Cooper – Conservative, and Richard Wilson – Labour. Katia lives in the ward, and Richard lives in Windlesham.

Katia is an outstanding candidate. Even though only a Lightwater resident since 2006 Katia has commendably got involved in community action. Early this year she put herself forward for the role of chairman of the Briars Centre Community Association, to help recover a failing Association. With the help of volunteers, the Association has made big strides forward, of which some are visible from the exterior.

Being a mother, of three young children, Katia is passionate about creating a safe and encouraging environment for children, and young adults. Transforming the Briars Community Centre, and seeking better utilisation of the Centre sports field are also among priorities.

Listen to Katia on Surrey Heath Residents Weblog HERE, talk about the work being done at the Community Centre.

VOTE Katia Malcaus-Cooper this Thursday.

  1. Impressive electioneering budget – slick use of personal salutation in enveloped letters …. but no knock at the door …..
