Great traditional village show

The West End Show – [properly called the West End, Windlesham & District Agricultural and Horticultural Society annual show] – on Saturday enjoyed wonderful weather.

Visitors happily browsed the show tent and produce exhibits in Tringhams Hall. While the dog show attracted large numbers, and the dogs had fun on the obstacle course.

Some things to note.

  • I’m a proud husband of a prize-winning bread maker..
  • West End Scouts and Guides have begun an appeal to replace their Club House. They were appealing for all sorts of help in raising funds for its replacement. Planning, publicity, and fundraising skills are needed.
  • Angela Astall – a key show organiser told me that her ice cream had sold out.
  • Met John Smith and Mick Glazier again. Two knowlegeable blokes about the history of West End.

Anyway, here’s a photo record of the event.
