So much about China surprises

Adam Minter of Shanghai Scrap reveals interesting facts about the recycling of televisions in China.

It’s obvious when you think about it. With a population of over 1.4 billion that China would be creative about recycling its redundant electrical appliances. In Adam’s article In the land of a million scrapped televisions, he notes that China is scrapping 160 million electrical appliances every year, and that this is growing by 20% a year. He also writes that the Chinese have become very efficient in recycling.
