HRH the Countess of Wessex opened the newly renovated Lightwater Surgery last week.
Not being there on the day, I’m told that those there were the surgery staff, Surrey Heath’s Mayor and Cllr Surinder Gandhum. Surinder tells me that the Countess was there for an hour and spoke at length with the surgery staff, before unveiling a plaque celebrating the event.
I don’t have a medical need to visit the surgery, but think I’ll pop-in to take a quick peek at what’s new.
