Cllr Terence Patrick, the Mayor of Guildford, is chairman of Circle 8 Film Group. To help raise funds for his charities he’s been hosting evenings of some of the films made by Circle 8 over years.
Last night we were delighted to attend a screening of ‘The Tales of Olde Surrey’ at Guildford’s splendid old Guildhall in the High Street. I photographed the Mayor upstairs in the Guildhall during the interval.
Terence is hosting two similar evenings – ‘The Life and Times of Lewis Carroll’ on Thursday 29th March, and ’70 years at the BBC’ on Thursday April 19th, again both at the Guildhall. Two generations of Terence’s family have been connected with the BBC. Terence is a past producer/director for the Beeb.
Tickets from Guildford Tourist Information Office.
