What an amazing Boxing Day. The Windlesham Pram Race started in 1968 and has grown into a phenomenal event. This year there were around 100 teams, and I’m told there were about 800 competitors. This along with the thousands lining the route. Truly an amazing event.
It’s organised by Surrey Border Lions with lots help from the folk of Windlesham. Tony Boxall and Geoff Mitchell deserve huge credit as the key organisers. The Mayor was invited to take part in the judging and prize giving. My first photo blog has some of the Mayor and Mayoress’ photo’s.
