Yet again I’ve been stymied in viewings chool exam and performance tables. The 2011 GCSE and A Level results have been released to students. But it won’t be until December 2011 and January 2012 before you can see the results in school league table form.
Frustratingly, I had to search hard for the information about the release date, just as I was frustrated last August. I wish that a simple statement on league table publication date was placed prominently on the Department of Education website.
However, when the data does become available, it’ll both be more comprehensive, and hopefully easy to find. The league tables for GCSE results for the years 2010, 2009 and 2008 can be seen HERE for Surrey Heath. The data for A level results by school don’t appear in this dataset. So ‘googling’ again, I managed to find the results HERE.
Conclusions: Still a frustrating experience, and of course, you’ll have to wait until December of January 2012 to get this years data.
