Road sign good news report

Yours truly has been on the case of replacement of missing road warning signs on Red Road in Lightwater since January this year.

So, it’s good news to report that the second of the missing road signs has been replaced this week [see photo]. It’s taken a long time to get this far. It’s easy to say too long. But hey, I’m just pleased that two have been replaced.

Now comes the potentially more difficult task, to get the remaining three signs replaced. Unlike the two signs replaced, which were only partly demolished, there’s no discernible physical evidence remaining of the three signs.

However, there’s the evidence I uncovered through Google Street View.  Here’s my report - Road Signs on the bends of the B311 – Red Road - that I submitted to Surrey County Council Highways.
