A visual spectacular of the weird and wonderful in motor cars, motor bikes, and the guests dress was on show at Bisley shooting grounds over the weekend at the Hot Rod Hayride 2011.
I’ve said before that I’m a minor petrol head, so anything with an internal combustion engine can grab my attention.
Some of the cars and hot rods were beautifully shiny, others were ‘grungy’, which isn’t to my taste.
While visiting the Hayride I bought myself a couple of striking Hawaiian-style shirts – both eye-gougingly bright. But there was a purpose, we’re going to the Mayor of Runnymede’s Wild West charity evening. Got to do Surrey Heath proud.
