The Attorney General, Baroness Scotland, caught in the scandal of employing an illegal immigrant, is toughing it out, and is seemingly not intending to resign. The question is, will she succeed in keeping her job?
My money is on her resigning, not immediately but after the drip, drip, drip of pressure, which won’t come from the mainstream media, who quickly move onto new stories, but from the blogosphere. Already Guido’s blog has built up an impressive head of steam on the issue, supported by left wing and right wing bloggers. Here’s where we are right now, and there’s a poll below for you to register your opinion,
- Guido Fawkes has a number of posts on the topic, and is pressing hard
- The Sunlight Centre for Open Politics has reported the case to the UK Border Agency
- The letter from the Sunlight Centre to the UK Border Agency
- The Independent probes into the law chief’s illegal worker
- Sky News have shadow home secretary’s pointed comments on the scandal
- The Red Rag blog is not very forgiving
