The FT’s Alphaville blog is now a daily visit for me, from which I picked up on Northern Crock Rock’s reporting of it’s first quarter of 2009’s results.
It reports that it’s “substantially loss making”, and also reports, “As anticipated, the company’s residential arrears over three months have increased to 3.67% at 31 March 2009 [31 Dec 2008 - 2.92%]“. Shocking.
Meanwhile, the Coventry Building Society of which I’m a member, tells me that “only 0.30% of accounts are six months or more in arrears.” Oh, and it made an increased profit over the previous year. Some difference, don’t you think.
