Journalists are privy to many things that aren’t published, such as Andrew Marr’s secret love child, but Robert Peston seems to delight in not only reporting news but in interpreting it to. Fine for sex scandals, but in times of financial meltdown I’d like a touch more circumspection please.
I agree with THIS on Guido’s blog.
I know he’s frightfully clever, but 1 minute sound bites on BBC News programmes just doesn’t give enough time to present the news in a fully rounded way.
