All of our village centre lamp posts have, this week, been adorned with hanging flower baskets. See picture.
It’s one of the LBA’s main motivations in organising village centre events, the ’fairs in the square’. It’s what the LBA use the majority of the event profits for, oh, and of course the Mayor’s Charity.
It’s not just putting up the hanging of the flower baskets, as any good gardener knows, it’s maintaining the display throughout the summer where all the effort is involved.
That’s why the LBA use professionals to maintain them.
