Technology – don’t you love it

Brentmoor Heath heatherThe digital camera in my mobile phone – never ceases to please, though I admit to not being keen on texting, nor listening to the radio while on the move.

I’ve been looking to upgrade my mobile phone for a while now. I’m keen to get better Organiser and email facilities – but, and it’s a big but, not at the expense of size. Blackberry – ugh!

I don’t like to carry ’stuff’ in my jacket pockets, so it’s trousers pockets that have to do the job. (I’ve still got a jacket with the pockets sewn up from the day I bought it.)

By way of example here’s a ‘piccy’ of the heather on Brentmoor Heath this week. If you’re interested, the lighter, lilac coloured heather is common heather [Calluna vulgaris] and the darker, purple coloured heather is bell heather [Erica cinerea].

Hmmm – a walk over Lightwater Country Park beckons – if I can find the time.
